Anti-Arbor Day!

Arbor Day was something I knew nothing about until my kids were in school. In environmentally conscious Ontario, schoolchildren are not told about this momentous tree-planting event.

In capitalist Alberta, every child in grade one is given a sapling to plant and nurture. So naturally we planted all 3 kids' trees in our garden. Andrew's tree, as a result of a 2 year growth spurt is now nearly 5 feet tall. We were looking for the perfect large houseplant, so like a good Alberta anti-environmental capitalist I dug it up and used to my own advantage by putting it on display inside our home.

Celebrate anti-Arbor Day.

Finally!

Well, its official. My transfer was finally approved this evening.

We have been waiting for over a month to see if it would happen. So in a few weeks I will be part of TD's Mortgage Sales Force in Brampton and Halton Hills, Ontario.
